The point
Why we are running this
The Teneo network grows on two things at once: more Beacons online, and more people hearing what a Beacon is. Paid ads do one of those. Real creators do both.
A short, honest video from someone who actually runs a Beacon is worth more than a polished ad, because people trust people. So we are putting the budget where the trust is. Show the world how you run your Beacon, help someone else start theirs, and get paid for the content you make.

How to enter
Make your video
Record a short video for TikTok or Instagram Reels about running your Teneo Beacon. Show your setup. Tell people why you run it and how you keep it online. Specific and real beats polished and vague every time. A phone is all you need.
Tag it and follow us
Three things have to be true for every entry:
- -Say or show the line “Keep Your Beacon Running!” in the video.
- -Add #Teneo and #KeepYourBeaconRunning to your caption.
- -Follow Teneo on Instagram or TikTok.
Tip
Adding your referral link is optional but smart. If someone starts a Beacon through your link, you earn your normal Teneo referral rewards on top of anything you win here. The prize pool and the referral programme stack.
Submit your link
Paste your video link into the entry form before the deadline. You can enter more than one video, and each one is judged on its own.
Eligibility
What makes an entry valid
To be counted, an entry needs all of the following:
- -A public video on TikTok or Instagram Reels, created for this challenge.
- -The video is about running the Teneo Beacon.
- -It includes the line "Keep Your Beacon Running!" spoken or on screen.
- -The caption includes #Teneo and #KeepYourBeaconRunning.
- -You follow Teneo on Instagram or TikTok.
- -You submitted the link through the entry form before the deadline.
- -The video stays public through judging and payout.
- -You actually run a Beacon, and you are 18 or older.
Judging
How winners are chosen
Winners are picked by the Teneo team, not by view count alone. Views matter, but a leaderboard based only on views would just reward whoever already has the biggest following, and it is too easy to fake. So every valid entry is scored against the same simple rubric:
- -Craft and watchability (30%): is it a good video for the platform.
- -Message and accuracy (25%): does it explain the Beacon clearly and honestly, and include the tagline.
- -Reach and engagement (25%): the views, likes, shares, and saves the video actually earned.
- -Would it make someone start a Beacon (20%): the whole point.
Note
Reach is measured from a snapshot taken 72 hours after the challenge closes, so a video posted on the last day still gets a fair run at gaining traction. Posting early helps anyway: the longer your video is live, the more reach it can build before the snapshot.

Payout
How and when you get paid
Prizes are paid in USDC on a low-fee chain. After winners are announced, we will reach out to collect a wallet address from each winner, and prizes are sent within a few days of that.
Rules
The fine print
- -You must be 18 or older to win.
- -Videos must be original and made for this challenge.
- -Be honest. Show your real setup. Do not promise anyone a specific income or guaranteed earnings. Entries that make false or misleading claims are removed.
- -Videos must stay public from submission through payout. A deleted video is a withdrawn entry.
- -Teneo team members and their families are not eligible for prizes.
- -Teneo's decisions on scoring, eligibility, and disqualification are final.
- -We may adjust, pause, or cancel the challenge if we need to. Any prizes already confirmed will still be paid.

Season 0
This is a test
This first run is deliberately small: one week, a $200 pool, a simple set of rules. It is a test of one question. If we ask the community to make videos about running Beacon, will good ones show up. If the answer is yes, the next challenge is bigger, runs more often, and carries a larger pool. Season 0 is where that starts.
