July turned the spark of activation into a surge of momentum. The Teneo AI Agent Testnet moved from a quiet trial into a full launch for Early Bird supporters and Martians - the protocol's earliest community members. For the first time, browser-based AI Agents operated in the wild, structuring open web content into usable intelligence in real time.

Two operating modes defined the Testnet experience. In Observer Mode, an Agent accompanies you as you scroll, watching and structuring the public content you naturally encounter. Switch to Autonomous Mode and your Agent navigates on its own, continuously gathering open-web signals without any input. Every 15 minutes, a heartbeat ping logs uptime and syncs processed content - but rewards only flow once the Agent has logged 100 or more valid items, keeping the Testnet honest and meaningful.

The Golden Ticket system managed access in a phased, merit-based rollout. Each whitelisted tester who processes 10,000 data signals unlocks three Golden Tickets to pass along, keeping growth community-driven. By month's end, Early Birds, Martians, and Straight to the Moon roles were all in play, with new waves of invites going out steadily.

July also saw the debut of Echo - the official Teneo mascot, chosen from over 700 community submissions. Echo embodies decentralised AI and real-time insight, carrying what the team describes as "the pulse of the network." Chapter 8 of the Teneo Academy, "Signals to Intelligence," launched alongside the mascot reveal, walking users through what their Agent actually does under the hood.

On the ecosystem front, Teneo partnered with Galaxis to explore how decentralised AI Agents can unlock real-time social intelligence for Web3 brand management. The Defiant also ran a deep-dive feature on the Testnet, noting that Teneo is "turning a once-speculative vision for decentralised AI into a functioning reality."
